We are the largest private employer on Christmas Island, and have evolved into a diversified and integrated business with interests in Resources, Energy, Agri-Business, Logistics, Facilities Management and the economic development of Christmas Island.<\/p>\n

The PRL Group has a rich history that included in the 70\u2019s and 80\u2019s the \u2018fight for equity\u2019 resulting in the achievement of wage parity and better conditions for the Asian workforce. This was followed by a struggle to reopen the mine after it was closed by the Commonwealth Government in 1987. The overriding aim of creating PRL and reopening the mine was to create jobs to support the community of Christmas Island. As a result, our company has always had a humble and community-focused approach to business.<\/p>\n
